ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE


An Account Executive is a vital member of the Agency, responsible for managing day-to-day operations and driving the successful execution of client brand and product goals. This role requires a proactive, resourceful individual with a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate is passionate about the business, eager to learn, and capable of maintaining a positive attitude while working effectively under pressure.


Execution


  • Manages the daily operations of assigned accounts.
  • Generates innovative business-building ideas for both clients and the Agency.
  • Actively pursues new business opportunities.
  • Efficiently utilizes Agency systems and procedures (e.g., job initiation, billing).
  • Demonstrates strong self-starter capabilities and excellent organizational skills, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Manages time effectively, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Exhibits initiative and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of clients and internal personnel to navigate both organizations effectively.
  • Monitors changes in job scope and tracks estimates against actuals.
  • Manages billing, resolves discrepancies, and assists with Agency forecast preparation.
  • Prepares weekly internal and external status reports.
  • Ensures the highest quality and perfection in all work produced by the agency.

  • Internal:
  • Keeps supervisors informed on project progress and actively seeks input.
  • Builds strong rapport with internal team members across various disciplines.
  • Serves as a valuable information resource for all team members.

  • Develops effective working relationships with client counterparts.
  • Becomes a trusted partner for clients.

  • Supervisory


    • Reports to an Account Supervisor or Account Director.
    • Accepts direction and input from supervisors willingly.

    • Possesses in-depth product, client, and industry knowledge.
    • Identifies and understands objectives thoroughly before initiating projects.
    • Develops creative solutions to problems and efficient approaches to assignments.
    • Familiarizes self with Agency research resources and client-provided business data.
    • Utilizes analytical and interpretive skills to contribute valuable insights.
    • Proactively educates self on marketing disciplines and industry trends.
    • Readily absorbs information and demonstrates an inquisitive nature.

    • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides

    Requirements/Qualifications


    • Four-year college degree, preferably in a communications-related discipline (marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism).
    • Alternatively, a four-year college degree in an unrelated discipline with 3+ years of applicable business experience.
