We are a fast-growing Food & Beverage group operating multiple restaurant locations across the U.S. We are seeking an experienced Accountant with strong F&B industry knowledge to manage financial operations, cost control, and multi-location reporting.

Job Summary:

The Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory costing, payroll coordination, and compliance for restaurant locations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in restaurant/F&B accounting and a strong understanding of food cost, labor cost, and unit-level profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Monitor food cost percentage, COGS, and labor cost

• Perform inventory reconciliation and variance analysis

• Handle vendor payments and manage supplier accounts

• Sales tax filings and ensure multi-state compliance

• Coordinate payroll processing and labor reporting

• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Support external CPA during audits and tax filings

• Analyze store-level P&L performance

• Assist in new store financial setup and cost structuring

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–5+ years of accounting experience in Restaurant/F&B industry (Required)

• Strong understanding of restaurant KPIs (Prime Cost, Food Cost %, Labor %, etc.)

• Experience with POS integrations and inventory systems

• Proficient in QuickBooks, Restaurant365, or similar accounting software

• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-state tax regulations

• Strong analytical and reporting skills

• Ability to manage multi-location accounting

• Experience working with growing restaurant groups

• Knowledge of franchise accounting (if applicable)

• CPA (preferred but not mandatory)

• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
