Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain, record and update financial records, invoices, ledgers and processing payments to vendors, suppliers and service providers using Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel
• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, including income tax, GST, TDS, Customs and other applicable taxes and statutory dues
• Prepare necessary documentation and assist in internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance and address any audit queries or requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee payroll processes, including calculation of salaries, deductions, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations (PF, ESI).
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analysing variances, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel
• Excellent written and spoken Communication in English
• Working experience in Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other related filings and compliances
• Fluency in spoken Telugu and Hindi
