Accountant

Job description:

The ideal candidate will be involved with day to day accounting and inventory reports, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen. 

Initial Job Location at Mohali (bit also open to relocate or frequent visit to Botswana) 

Salary Range: As per Industry Norms

Office Timing:

Monday to Friday: 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Saturday : 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accurate inventory records, conducting physical stock audits, and managing raw material/finished goods movements.

• Control the Daily inventory in and out from warehouse in ERP system

• Manage and Control inventory process and prepare ad-hoc reports

• Ensuring tax compliance and generating MIS reports for stock and financial status.

• Working with purchasing and sales departments to optimize stock levels.

• Perform Day to Day accounting work and account reconciliations

• Communication and coordination with both India and Botswana team

Qualifications

• Commerce Graduate/ CA Inter/ ICWA Inter (minimum 3 years post qualification experience) 

• Experience in auditing or inventory management, often with a focus on trading and petrol pumps/ fuel stations.

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Practical knowledge of work in good ERP like Odoo/ SAP/ Oracle/ Microsoft
