We are looking for a Senior accounting professional for a direct hire job opportunity in San Jose, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are met.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
• Assist with audits by preparing documentation and supporting internal controls.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on payroll processing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with multiple stakeholders.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
