Accountant

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to complete financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance. This role is perfect for someone with a basic grounding in accounting and Tally, who wants to grow in a fast-paced, fashion-first startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Accounts in bookkeeping and ledger maintenance using Tally
• Support in GST and TDS filing and basic tax-related documentation
• Prepare and file invoices, shipment documentation, and export paperwork
• Manage and organize accounting files and documentation (both physical and digital)
• Assist in vendor and customer reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Support HR and admin work including payroll documentation, attendance maintenance, and follow-ups
• Coordinate with merchandisers for PO and invoice matching
• Help manage daily records for petty cash expenses and office payments

Key Requirements

• 1-2 of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
• Proficient in Tally and MS Excel
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and invoice formats
• Good filing and documentation skills
• Export documentation experience is a bonus
• Willingness to work across HR and admin responsibilities
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
