Job Summary

The Site Assistant Manager – Accountant is responsible for leading site operations while overseeing end-to-end financial management of the project. This role ensures operational efficiency, strict budget control, financial compliance, and timely reporting. The position requires strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and hands-on experience managing large-scale project finances and multidisciplinary site teams.

Key Responsibilities

A. Site Accounting & Operational Assistances

• Lead and manage daily site finance operations to ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Monitor procurement, material consumption, and vendor performance.
• Drive productivity improvements and cost optimization initiatives.

B. Financial Management & Accounting

• Lead complete financial management of site accounts.
• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets and cash flows.
• Approve and verify vendor bills, subcontractor payments, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
• Oversee statutory compliance including VAT, WHT , labor laws, etc.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Implement financial controls and strengthen governance at site level.
• Liaise with corporate finance team for fund management and reporting.
• Liasoning with banks / clients for operational matters

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration.
• Professional certification (CA Inter / CMA / CPA / MBA Finance) preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in construction/project-based industries.
• Strong understanding of project costing, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP).
• Advanced Excel
