Accountant

At The Veshti Company, we are a fast-growing fashion brand operating across Amazon, Myntra, Shopify, and international markets.

We are looking for an Accountant who is extremely strong in Excel (non-negotiable) and can manage financials across manufacturing, inventory, and e-commerce operations.

Role

This is a core accounting + operations role.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate books

• Handling marketplace reconciliations

• Tracking manufacturing and inventory flow

• Working extensively on Excel for reporting and data tracking

ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Book-keeping

• Maintain books of accounts in Zoho Books

• Record daily transactions (sales, expenses, returns, refunds)

• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations

Marketplace Reconciliation

• Reconcile payouts from Amazon, Myntra, Shopify, etc

• Track commissions, fees, returns, and deductions

• Identify and flag discrepancies

Manufacturing & Inventory Tracking

• Track production stages: fabric → dyeing → stitching → finished goods

• Align production data with inventory and accounting records

• Monitor stock movement and valuation

• Support cost tracking (COGS, per SKU costing)

Excel-Based Reporting (Critical)

• Build and maintain reports using Excel

• Work with:

• Pivot Tables
• XLOOKUP / INDEX MATCH
• Large datasets

👉 This role requires daily, hands-on Excel work

Requirements

Must Have:

• 1–3 years accounting experience

• Strong accounting fundamentals

• Advanced Excel skills (non-negotiable)

• Experience with Zoho Books or similar software

• High attention to detail

Good to Have:

• Experience in e-commerce or manufacturing

• Understanding of inventory and cost tracking

• Familiarity with marketplace reports
