Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in transactions, and support the organization’s financial health. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a good understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements
• Prepare and examine financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Excel)
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (CA Inter / CMA / CPA – preferred)
• Experience in GST, TDS, and tax compliance (India-specific)
• Familiarity with financial reporting and auditing processes
