Role Description

This is a full-time Accountant role located on-site in Chennai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling statements, maintaining records, and preparing financial reports. The role involves monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements. Supporting audits, optimizing financial processes, and collaborating with the finance team are key elements of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Proficiency in tax compliance, auditing practices, and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software - Zoho Books
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical skills for financial data analysis and forecasting
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with team members and stakeholders
• A bachelor‘s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
• Previous experience in accounting within a similar industry or setting is preferred
