Actuarial Consultant

Description

Millimans Dubai Health Practice is looking for an actuarial professional with more than 6 years of experience who has a strong desire to expand their actuarial skills, is committed to obtaining Fellowship and has a career goal of becoming an actuarial consultant.

Educational requirements

• An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science mathematics or another major with quantitative course work
• A minimum of 10 actuarial exams with a recognized professional actuarial organization preferably Associate level reached
• Outstanding academic record
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel Powerpoint etc.

Experience and skill requirements

• Minimum 6 years of actuarial experience with at least part of the experience in healthrelated work
• Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability
• Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products
• Working knowledge of actuarial concepts specific to health systems such as utilisation vs cost clinical coding systems DiagnosisRelated Groupers valuebased healthcare etc
• Client facing experience including drafting and reviewing of formal actuarial reports as well as presentation of technical content to senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal)
• Good organizational skills
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
