Adolescent Mental Health Nurse

HCA Healthcare, a leader in medical services, is seeking a dedicated Adolescent Mental Health Nurse to join our caring professionals at our specialized adolescent treatment facilities. This role is crucial for providing tailored nursing care to adolescents grappling with mental health issues, supporting their journey to recovery and managing day-to-day healthcare needs. This position involves direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, patient and family education, and participation in continuous improvement processes to enhance care standards.

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for adolescents with mental health conditions. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Administer medications and treatments safely, and monitor responses.

Provide mental health education to patients and their families. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and optimize patient care plans. Keep accurate patient records and prepare reports on patients' status and progress.
