The Role-
We are looking for a high-octane Head of Inside Sales — someone who combines the strategic sharpness with the street-smart hustle of a seasoned sales leader. This is a hands-on, execution-first role. You will own revenue targets, build pipelines, crack enterprise and consumer deals, and scale the inside sales function from Day 1. You should be equally comfortable in B2B and B2C environments, deeply passionate about customer acquisition, and confident owning a P&L. You lead from the front, build high-performing teams, and thrive in the fast pace of a high-growth startup.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue & P&L Ownership
- Own and drive the inside sales P&L — revenue targets, cost of acquisition, contribution margins, and profitability metrics.
- Build and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans with clear KPIs, OKRs, and revenue milestones.
- Forecast pipeline health, track conversion rates, and course-correct in real time to protect revenue targets.
- Analyse revenue data and market trends to identify growth levers across B2B and B2C channels.
2. Customer Acquisition & Pipeline Building
• Design and execute high-velocity customer acquisition strategies for both B2B (brand partnerships, agency deals, enterprise clients) and B2C (direct subscriber growth, digital sales funnels).
• Build scalable inside sales processes — from cold outreach and lead qualification to demo, negotiation, and closure. • Own the full sales funnel: awareness → interest → intent → conversion → retention.
• Leverage CRM tools, data analytics, and automation to maximise pipeline efficiency and reduce sales cycle time.
• Develop targeted outreach campaigns in collaboration with marketing to drive qualified inbound and outbound leads.
3. B2B Sales — Partnerships & Enterprise
• Identify, pitch, and close brand partnerships, advertising deals, content syndication agreements, and platform integrations.
• Build a robust enterprise B2B pipeline targeting media agencies, brands, and distribution platforms.
• Structure and negotiate commercial agreements — licensing, co-productions, white-label deals, and long-term retainers.
• Represent Tuktuki at industry forums, trade events, and investor discussions as a credible business leader.
4. B2C Sales — Direct & Digital
• Drive direct-to-consumer revenue through subscription sales, in-app monetisation, and digital commerce channels. • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to design high-converting user journeys, onboarding flows, and upsell mechanics.
• Analyse customer behaviour data (DAU/MAU, ARPU, churn) to develop targeted retention and upsell strategies.
• Identify and test new B2C revenue models — freemium, premium, bundled offerings, and loyalty programmes.
5. Team Building & Leadership
• Recruit, onboard, and build a high-performing inside sales team from scratch — SDRs, Account Executives, and Sales Ops.
• Set clear performance benchmarks, run weekly pipeline reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and healthy competition.
• Coach and mentor team members with a player-coach approach — lead from the front while developing future leaders.
• Create incentive structures, sales playbooks, and training programmes that drive consistent performance.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with the CEO, CBO, CPO, and Marketing heads to align sales strategy with overall business objectives.
• Partner with Product and Content teams to package and position Tuktuki's offerings compellingly for different buyer personas.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product roadmap and content strategy decisions.
Experience & Skills
• 3-6 years of progressive sales experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing inside sales teams.
• Demonstrated success in both B2B and B2C sales — proven quota achievement, deal closures, and revenue growth. • Hands-on experience owning P&L — comfortable with revenue planning, cost management, and margin analysis.
