Assistant Technical Director (ATD)

The ATD may perform a diverse series of technical support and engineering functions in order to ensure the smooth running of our film visual effects projects. Responsibilities: Supporting or troubleshooting the pipeline and workflow tools Providing in-person technical assistance to people in creative departments Managing data on a large networked file system Creating tools for artists and to improve workflow Essential Skills: A degree in Computer Science, Digital Art or a similar related field Experience with a variety of commercial graphics applications such as Maya and Nuke A good knowledge of Python Strong problem solving skills Excellent communication skills The ability to work well in a collaborative environment Desirable Skills: Previous experience of shell scripting A good knowledge of Linux and Unix Previous experience in visual effects, CG animation or video game production Framestore is proud to employ extraordinary talent across all genders, races, nationalities, religions, ages, abilities and sexual preferences.
