Hiring: AVP – Accounts Receivable (SAP)

A leading Food Industry brand based in Gurugram is seeking a seasoned AVP – Accounts Receivable to lead and strengthen the revenue and receivables function. The role requires strong expertise in SAP (FI/AR) and extensive experience managing large distributor networks within the Food/FMCG sector.

Role Overview

The AVP – Accounts Receivable will head the complete AR and Revenue Management function, ensuring strong financial controls, optimized collections, disciplined credit management, and seamless coordination between sales, supply chain, and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Accounts Receivable & Revenue Management function.
• Ensure effective management of distributor/dealer receivables and credit control frameworks.
• Drive collections strategy and continuously optimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
• Oversee billing, invoicing accuracy, revenue recognition, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage periodic AR ageing reviews and implement corrective recovery measures.
• Leverage SAP (FI/AR Module) to streamline processes, reporting, and automation.
• Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to improve working capital efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Receivable team to drive high performance and accountability.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Revenue Management.
• Strong exposure to the Food / FMCG industry with large distributor/channel networks.
• Advanced hands-on experience in SAP (FI/AR Module).
• Proven track record in optimizing collections, reducing bad debts, and improving working capital.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• CA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
