Title: AVP of Operations - Infrastructure Operations

Location: REMOTE in India

Duration: Direct Hire, Permanent

Salary: 50-60 LPA

As the Director/AVP of Infrastructure Operations, you will be responsible for leading the global operations of our on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure environments. This role requires a leader who blends good technical expertise with operational excellence, service reliability, and business alignment.

You will oversee mission-critical domains including Windows, Linux, Unix, networking, backup, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Your mandate is to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and resilience of infrastructure services while driving modernization, automation, and cost optimization.

You will serve as a bridge between technology and business, ensuring infrastructure operations not only deliver efficiency and reliability, but also enable digital transformation and long-term enterprise growth.

Key Skills:

• Strong grasp of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure hosting services.
• Strong grasp of Microsoft security landscape. Most of our customers are heavy Microsoft layered shops.
• Strong Microsoft Windows depth, including servers, virtualization, Active Directory, security services; endpoint management.
• Strong networking background: firewalls; SDWAN; complex routing; switching; Zero trust solutions like Zscaler. Cisco/Meraki experience.
• 20+ years diverse experience.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 15–18 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure operations, with at least 8+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure environments across & service delivery teams operating into on-prem and hybrid data centers, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux, Unix.
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP (multi-cloud operations desirable).
• Networks: LAN/WAN, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPN.
• Storage & Backup: SAN, NAS, backup technologies (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup).
• Virtualization & Containers: VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python) and observability tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus).
• Strong ability to influence C-level stakeholders, manage vendors, and deliver transformation programs.

Compensation: 50-60 LPA. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
