Job Description
About the Role:
The AVP of Sales responsibilities include having in-depth knowledge and understanding of their market and knowing competitive products. They must also be excellent communicators with excellent customer service skills who can quickly navigate any situation to reach desired goals.
Ultimately, you will work with leaders across our sales team to ensure our organization hits our sales and revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
● Leads and supports the pipeline of new business development, client engagement and pursuit execution
● Manage teams of account executives who work directly with clients on specific projects
● Collaborate with other members of the company leadership team to develop strategies for growth within existing accounts or acquiring new clients
● Maximize revenue opportunities from the assigned customers. Create new opportunities focused on SolarSquare’s Sales & Growth and explore potential new revenue streams.
● Communicate account strategies clearly and regularly within the organization, and build support for the assigned accounts from all key functions
● Keep pipeline and account management activities up to date through the provided pipeline management tools
● Manage and coordinate all pricing requests/proposals from the assigned accounts, working closely with the leadership team to provide a timely, accurate and competitive response.
● Act as the escalation point for major issues/complaints from the assigned customer group. Coordinate internally to resolve such issues and respond promptly to customers to close out complaints.
● Ensure that the global customer contracts are up to date, ensure the organization is proactively working on key renewals, and orchestrate the internal resources, communication, and support required to ensure key contracts are renewed with a win/win outcome.
● Work closely with the team on the annual target-setting process for the global account program, ensuring alignment and buy-in on the targets.
● Reviewing customer activity, anticipating customer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.
● Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.
● Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
Requirements:
● 10–12 years of experience showcasing exceptional skills in problem-solving,
analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
● MBA from tier I colleges preferred (IIMs, ISB, etc.)
