Backend Developer - AWS Connect

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software development (APIs, Web services, Web applications, apps, etc).
• Experience with AWS Connect solution design and implementation, and continuous improvement/maintenance.
• Experience with RESTful API strategy, development and management.
• Strong knowledge of AWS.
• Understanding of modern web applications and SPAs.
• Familiar with leading technologies enabling DevOps (CI/CD).
• Have broad experience with Java.
• Familiar with managing workloads in Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of branching strategies and Git.
• Strong knowledge of using code analysis tools like Checkstyle, PMD, Spotbugs.
• Familiar with SCA tool like dependency checks.
• Familiar with Bash scripting.
• Extensive experience with Microservices concepts like Authentication and Authorization, logging, correlation, observability and tracing.
• Ability to support and monitor APIs / software that is deployed to production.
• Ability to deliver complex technology programs in agile environments.

Estimate and plan workloads for upcoming sprints.

Frame development solutions and explain thinking in a compelling way.

Ensure development is maintainable, reusable and of high quality.

Identify problems or areas for continuous improvement and provide solutions proactively.
