Business Analyst

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an innovative organization, is seeking a skilled Business Analyst. This role is responsible for gathering and translating business requirements, supporting vendor integration efforts, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in a multi-year platform implementation involving a new vendor-supported, agent-facing application.

Job Duties:

• Gather, document, and refine detailed business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for API and system integrations
• Collaborate with internal development teams to define integration logic, data mappings, and call-level requirements
• Partner with external vendor teams to ensure accurate understanding and delivery of requirements
• Facilitate communication across business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors
• Support QA and UAT efforts by validating requirements and ensuring alignment with delivered functionality
• Participate in ongoing product and integration discussions as the platform evolves

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in a Business Analyst role with API integration experience
• Must have experience working in the insurance industry
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing detailed business and functional requirements
• Experience supporting API and system integration efforts, including writing technical specifications
• Experience working with Agile tools such as JIRA or similar platforms
• Experience translating business requirements into integration-level documentation (e.g., mappings, endpoints, workflows)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, and external vendors
