Business Analyst - Temenos

Job Title: Business Analyst – Temenos (AA & Payments)

Location: Chennai / Bangalore

Experience: 4 – 12 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in the Payments domain to support a core banking migration project from Finacle to Temenos . The ideal candidate should have expertise in Temenos Arrangement Architecture (AA) and good knowledge of payment products and messaging standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements ( BRD / FSD ) and manage updates in JIRA .
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirement scope.
• Provide requirement clarification and support to development and testing teams .
• Prepare and execute test cases , support UAT, and demonstrate features to stakeholders.
• Monitor and resolve production issues , ensuring smooth implementation and minimal defect leakage.

Required Skills:

• 4–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Payments domain .
• Strong knowledge of Temenos – Arrangement Architecture (AA) .
• Good understanding of CASA, AMS, accounting, and payment products .
• Familiarity with payment messaging standards such as SWIFT, ISO 20022, MTXXX, PAIN formats, SFMS, NEFT, RTGS .
• Knowledge of clearing systems (e.g., CHAPS) is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices including user stories, sprint planning, and estimation.
