Role Overview

The Cargo Trainer‑cum‑Admin plays a dual role—delivering high‑quality cargo operations training and maintaining comprehensive administrative and training records to ensure operational excellence, safety compliance, and regulatory readiness across AISATS cargo operations at DXN.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver Cargo Operations Training across key areas including warehouse operations, cargo acceptance, cargo handling, cargo rating, ULD build‑up/management, special cargo processes, and aviation terminology.
  • Develop and Maintain Training Programs & Materials to support continuous employee development, ensuring alignment with AISATS standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure 100% Compliance for Basic Cargo Handling Training (Initial & Recurrent) for all staff across the AISATS network, maintaining training validity at all times.
  • Promote Understanding of AISATS Cargo Policies & Procedures to ensure consistent application of operational standards and SOPs across cargo operations.
  • Introduce Industry Best Practices by communicating new methods and procedures that enhance safety, efficiency, and overall productivity.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis to identify skill gaps, select the best instructional methods, and ensure uniform delivery across AISATS locations.
  • Evaluate & Continuously Improve Training Delivery, reviewing tools, methods, assessments, and outcomes to maximize training effectiveness.
  • Enhance and Update Training Programs based on operational requirements, audits, staff performance, and new cargo‑related products, services, or processes within AISATS.
  • Provide On‑the‑Job Training and operational support to cargo staff, ensuring practical skill application and readiness for live operations.
  • Maintain Safety Compliance by adhering to responsibilities outlined in the AISATS LDM, and IATA/ICAO standards.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s / master’s in any degree.
  • Preferred, (but not mandatory): Certification from IATA or any other recognized organization in ULD Build‑up, Live Animal Regulations (LAR), Temperature Control Regulations (TCR), Perishable Cargo (PER), or Special Cargo Handling.


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • 03 - 05 years of experience in Cargo operations or 03 – 05 years of experience in L&TD for Cargo Trainings.
  • Experience in handling cargo operations for both narrow‑body and wide‑body aircraft, including the handling of special cargo such as Dangerous Goods, Live Animals (AVI), Perishables (PER), Pharmaceuticals, Temperature‑Controlled shipments, and ULD build‑up.
