Location is stationed at Shrirampur plant; candidate should give basic must support other plant in India

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer for the Shrirampur Plant who will be responsible for managing civil construction, structural works, plant infrastructure projects, site supervision, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely execution of all civil activities in line with Lactalis India’s quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Execution & Site Supervision

• Oversee and execute all civil and structural works within the plant.
• Ensure on-site supervision of contractors and maintain adherence to drawings, specifications, and safety rules.
• Monitor progress and ensure timelines, quality, and cost targets are met.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities with internal teams and external vendors.

2. Technical & Engineering Activities

• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs for construction and maintenance work.
• Conduct quantity measurements and maintain proper documentation.
• Support design reviews and ensure structural compliance based on industry standards.
• Coordinate with design consultants for modifications, improvements, and new project requirements.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

• Handle coordination with multiple vendors and contractors for civil and structural activities.
• Verify work done and certify civil bills before processing for payment.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure contractual compliance.

4. Maintenance & Infrastructure

• Support plant maintenance team for civil repair, renovation, and strengthening works.
• Ensure preventive maintenance plans for plant buildings, drainage, roads, and utility structures.
• Address civil-related breakdowns and take corrective actions.

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with Lactalis safety and quality standards during execution.
• Maintain adherence to local statutory, environmental, and construction guidelines.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and maintain project records.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, structural basics, and industrial construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Project, Excel, and other engineering tools.
• Good understanding of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and project cost controls.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Ability to independently handle multiple projects at the plant.

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech – Civil Engineering

Additional certification in construction management / structural design is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• 6–8 years of experience in industrial plant projects, FMCG/dairy/food‑sector preferred.
• Experience with factory buildings, utility structures, roads, drainage, and industrial RCC/steel structures.
• Experience working in a plant environment with multiple stakeholders.
