Job Title: CNC Machinist - Night Shift (Flexible Hours)
Location: Columbus, NE
Pay: $19.50/hour DOE | $24.50/hour after rollover

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turning centers and/or machining centers with supervision or independently.
- Read and interpret work order routings, blueprints, sketches and tool sheets.
- Understand machine functions and operate with various materials.
- Use preset tools, follow tool paths within programs and make offsets or edits as needed.
- Inspect work using micrometers, bore gauges, vernier calipers and other precision measuring tools (including micrometers up to 25").
- Select proper feeds, speeds, tooling and clamping methods to maintain tolerances per drawing requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
- Accurately log time and labor entries.
- May provide training and technical guidance to less experienced machinists.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic machinist knowledge with CNC machining and/or turning center experience.
- Ability to read and interpret machine drawings.
- Strong math skills and ability to resolve technical problems.
- Experience as a manual machinist is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail, quality and safety.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and with mechanical aids move parts or machines up to 2,000 pounds.
- Knowledge of CNC programming (G&M code) preferred.
