Job Title: Swiss CNC Machinist

Location: Mesa, AZ

Shift: 1st Shift: 7am -3:30 pm

2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30 pm

3rd Shift: 11:00 pm-7:30 am

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $20.00 - $29.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss CNC machines to produce precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong experience working with tight tolerances, a commitment to quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

About the Role:

• Is knowledgeable in CNC machining and secondary equipment
• Assists Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost)
• Active participant and advocate of Lean & 5S culture company-wide
• Follows "in-process" quality inspections and works with team members to ensure total quality
• Aids in feedback to planning & engineering to optimize productivity
• Provides translation service for team members when required
• Ensure usage of correct gaging, hand measuring tools & metrology equipment to deliver the highest possible quality components for our customers
• Support preventative maintenance of equipment and report machine issues to production supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of lathe production experience on CNC & related production equipment
• Experience setting up and operating CNC Lathe Machines preferred
• Read and understand job layouts, blueprints, schematics and work from written and verbal job instructions on operations
• Strict time management with self and other employees to support a productive work environment. This includes providing hourly production stats to shift supervisor & implementing quick corrective actions to help team members reach their goals
• Excellent attendance
• Ability to communicate with and collaborate with team members
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to work on a busy manufacturing floor
