Elwood Staffing - - Responsibilities: Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts; Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, materials, GD&T symbols, and machining parameters; Program machining operations including setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and verifying part programs; Set up machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, fixtures, collets, bushings, and attachments; Monitor all machining operations, detect malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and adjust or reprogram controls as needed
