Our client develops, manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells orthopedic implant devices, related surgical instrumentation, and biologic services. Many of the roles are temp to hire with our client. All of their buildings are air-conditioned and a comfortable work environment.

Job Description

  • Setup and operate CNC and manual equipment.
  • Typical types of work, but not limited to: Level 2 Products.
  • Ability to meet production standards and quality expectations.
  • Train Level 1 personnel on CNC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs when necessary with manufacturing engineering assistance.
  • Build tooling when necessary.
  • Ability to insure proper inspection setups to meet quality standards (self-inspection required).
  • Train Level 1 personnel in proper use of inspection equipment.
  • Ability to work from written instructions, (Work Instructions).
  • Ability to document results accurately.
  • Understand and follow all GMP procedures.
  • Understand and follow all departmental SOP's. Document and report any process deviations to team leader.
  • Understand and comply with all department safety policies and procedures.
  • Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
  • Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary
Skills Required
  • 5+ years of experience as a machinist
  • Ability to understand CNC programs
  • Ability to design processes and tooling for the manufacture of components from a print
  • Ability to edit CNC programs with Manufacturing Assistance
  • Working knowledge of CNC and manual equipment
Education/Training/Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of inspection procedures & use of inspection equipment.
  • Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
Pay Rate
  • $17.60 per hour and higher depending on experience
