Schedule:
• Day Shift: 4×10s (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (+20% premium)
• Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (36 hrs paid as 40, +20% premium)
Pay: $23.00 – $30.00+ per hour (higher for skilled CNC grinders)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Location: Gorham, ME (Primary Manufacturing Facility)
Machinery: Walter & Rollomatic CNC Grinders (5-axis)
Experience Level: Entry-level (trainable) to experienced CNC grinder
Relocation: Available for experienced CNC grinders

The Opportunity\n

We are actively hiring CNC Machinists / CNC Grinders for Day, Evening, and Weekend shifts due to continued growth and demand.

\n

This role is ideal for:

\n
    \nExperienced CNC tool & cutter grinders\nOperators with Walter or Rollomatic experience\nMechanically inclined candidates looking to train into CNC grinding\nMachinists seeking a clean, structured, high-tech environment\n\n

    No G-code programming required — machines run off proven programs retrieved from a central server, with operator adjustments and offsets.

    What You’ll Do\n

      \nSet up and operate CNC tool & cutter grinding machines in a high-volume production environment\nWork with industry-leading Walter and Rollomatic CNC grinders\nPerform first-article and in-process inspections\nMonitor quality, tolerances, and tool performance\nTroubleshoot machining and grinding processes\nCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on continuous improvement initiatives\n\n

      What We’re Looking For\n

        \nCNC machining or CNC grinding experience (preferred, not required)\nExperience with Walter Grinders, Rollomatic, or 5-axis grinding is a strong plus\nMechanical aptitude and attention to detail\nAbility to follow:\n
          \nEngineering drawings\nProcess sheets\nStandard operating procedures\n\n\nWillingness to learn, cross-train, and grow within a structured manufacturing environment\n\n

          Candidates from skilled trades (automotive, tire techs, carpentry, production machining) with strong math or mechanical ability are encouraged to apply.

            \nEntry Level / Trainable: $23.00/hr\nSkilled CNC Grinder: $30.00+/hr\n\n

            Shift Schedules
