About the Role\n

Tecomet is hiring CNC Machinist III professionals to join our Wilmington, MA team on both Day and Night Shifts. Whether you're a milling expert or lathe-focused machinist, you'll work with cutting-edge materials like Titanium and Inconel to produce tight-tolerance parts for aerospace and defense applications.

⏰ Available Shifts\n

Day Shift – Lathe Focus

\n

\nFocus: CNC lathes (mill-turn experience is a plus)\nSetup and operate high-precision turning machines\nPay: $38.00 – $42.00/hour\n\n

Night Shift – Milling Focus (5-Axis)

\n

\nFocus: CNC mills (mostly 3+2; 5-axis), some lathe experience helpful\nMaterials: Titanium, Inconel\nPay: $38.00 – $42.00/hour + 10% shift differential\nNo current applicants for this shift – great opportunity to stand out!\n\n

Key Responsibilities\n

✅ Set up and operate CNC machines (mills or lathes)
✅ Work from blueprints and inspect tight-tolerance parts
✅ Troubleshoot minor issues, adjust offsets, and replace tooling
✅ Collaborate with engineering on process improvements
✅ Maintain accurate documentation and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/GDP)
✅ Train and mentor junior machinists as needed
✅ Work in a clean, safety-first environment using advanced technology

️ Requirements\n

\n5+ years of CNC machining experience (setup & operation)\nExperience with 5-axis milling or CNC turning\nAbility to read blueprints and use metrology tools\nFamiliarity with G-code and CAM systems\nUS Citizenship or Green Card required (ITAR compliance)\n\n

Preferred:

\nMill-turn experience\nWire EDM exposure\nPrior aerospace or defense machining background\n\n
