Cnc Machinist

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Interpret part drawings, work orders, and machining instructions.
• Create CNC programs using G code and conversational programming.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and machining centers for production runs.
• Operate manual andCNC machines for tooling maintenance and repairs.
• Measure and inspect machined parts using precision instruments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to plan machining of complex parts.
• Coordinate with purchasing to maintain inventory of machining supplies.
• Maintain production efficiency with accuracy and consistency.
• Record production data in shop floor tracking systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Experience operating CNC lathes and machining centers.
• Knowledge of CNC programming including G code.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Mazak CNC controls and MAZATROL is a plus.
• Experience with CAM software is a plus.
• Technical training or certification in machining is an advantage.
