Job Description
Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Interpret part drawings, work orders, and machining instructions.
- Create CNC programs using G code and conversational programming.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and machining centers for production runs.
- Operate manual andCNC machines for tooling maintenance and repairs.
- Measure and inspect machined parts using precision instruments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to plan machining of complex parts.
- Coordinate with purchasing to maintain inventory of machining supplies.
- Maintain production efficiency with accuracy and consistency.
- Record production data in shop floor tracking systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Experience operating CNC lathes and machining centers.
- Knowledge of CNC programming including G code.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with Mazak CNC controls and MAZATROL is a plus.
- Experience with CAM software is a plus.
- Technical training or certification in machining is an advantage.
