Your new role

Compliance consultant will be joining the Legal and Compliance department in Singapore, focusing on Singapore regulatory matters. This is a 12 months contract role.

The responsibilities as below:

• Handling regulatory matters in responding to regulatory inquiries and licensing requirements
• Development, maintenance and testing of compliance processes in ensuring adherence to laws, regulations and firm policies and procedures
• Developing and implementing policies, procedures and controls in response to regulatory drivers and business changes
• Preparation of compliance reports for senior management, regulators, and other interested bodies
• Preparation of license applications, coordination and filing of regulatory reports
• Ensuring adherence to Blackstone's corporate governance and compliance policies
• Providing advice to business on compliance, regulatory and policy issues

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6+ years legal, compliance or internal audit experience at an asset manager or other financial institution
• Team player and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision, and to excel under tight deadlines
• Ability to work under a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin required
• Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, including senior management
