Salary: Up to £300,000+ per year
About the Role
We are seeking Oculoplastic Ophthalmologists to provide advanced eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal surgery within a tertiary hospital system. This role combines high-level clinical practice with academic and research contributions, offering the chance to develop innovative oculoplastic services.
Key Responsibilities
Perform reconstructive and cosmetic oculoplastic procedures
Manage orbital disease, trauma, and tear drainage disorders
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology and ENT
Train residents and fellows in oculoplastic surgery
Lead clinical governance, audits, and innovation initiatives
Candidate Requirements
MBBS or equivalent + subspecialty qualification in Oculoplastics
Board-certified/eligible Ophthalmologist
Minimum 7 years' post-CCT experience for Senior Consultants
Research and teaching portfolio desirable
