Content Strategist and Product Designer
Location: Woodlawn, MD

Job Responsibilities: * Designs UX flows, interactive prototypes, and user interface patterns aligned to React and Drupal capabilities. * Conducts usability testing and translates findings into improved wireframes, interaction models, and template refinements. * Works closely with content strategists to ensure layouts support plain-language content and intuitive user pathways. * Collaborates with developers to validate feasibility, optimize components for accessibility, and support editor-focused UI tools. * Defines content strategy, information architecture, sitemaps, editorial workflows, and voice/tone/style consistency. * Produces plain language, task based content and aligns copy with UX flows, templates, and 508 accessibility requirements. * Partners with developers to match content to the correct Drupal templates and editor tools. * Supports redirect mapping, taxonomy strategy, and cross site consistency across agency site sections.
Required Skills and Education: * Minimum Bachelor’s degree * Minimum 3 years experience supporting content strategy and product design
Must be local to DC/MD/VA for onsite work in Woodlawn, MD
