Controls & Embedded Design Engineer

About the Role

Are you detail-oriented, technically minded, and passionate about data quality and product logic?

We are looking for a Data Management Officer to join a dynamic team working on the development and optimization of Product Data Management (PDM) systems.

In this role, you will not design physical products, but the data structures and logic behind them, ensuring accurate configuration, calculation, and manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in translating technical product information into structured digital models used across design, engineering, and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain functional data models within the PDM / Knowledge Base system
• Translate technical documentation (e.g., drawings, datasheets, catalogs) into structured digital formats
• Ensure high data quality through validation, testing, and continuous improvement
• Prototype and test configurations for new developments and system updates
• Identify bugs, trends, and risks, proposing proactive solutions
• Define and document modeling standards to ensure consistency and scalability
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on system improvements
• Provide technical support and guidance on data-related topics
• Analyze feedback and contribute to process and system optimization
• Support the evolution of data models and methodologies
• Use tools such as AutoCAD (2D/3D) or similar to interpret geometries and solve technical challenges

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Product Development, Industrial Design, or similar
• Fluent in English (international environment)
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Basic knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD or similar)
• Interest in data modeling, PDM/PLM systems, and digital product structures
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Experience with building materials or industrial products
• Background in engineering or product development projects
• Strong Excel or data analysis skills
