Job Description

The Corporate Accountant will be required to roll up their sleeves, getting involved with the following tasks/duties.

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee tax compliance, including BAS preparation and lodgement.
• Provide support for audits, working closely with external auditors.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment across departments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CA/CPA qualified or currently completing
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience with an ERP
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and compliance.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
