Payrate
$65.00 - $70.00/hr.
Summary
The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior management, technical and client teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, and best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to the management system, or direct others in coding descriptions.
- Design, implement, automate and maintain large‑scale enterprise data ETL processes.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
Skills
- Experience with database technologies.
- Knowledge of the ETL process.
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated history of success.
- Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data‑driven decisions.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required.
- 5‑7 years of applicable experience required.
Pay Transparency
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $65.00 - $70.00/hour. Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full‑time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
