TMS Global are a wholly owned subsidiary of DS Smith PLC, a packaging and display manufacturing business who are a leading global provider of corrugated packaging solutions. TMS Global specialise in the outsourcing of retail display, print and packaging for a variety of global customers and are active in 97 markets globally and we are made up of just over 300 people. About the Role As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in our established shared service centre of excellence in Gurgaon.
In this role you be responsible for the day-to-day creation of reports, analysis, visualisations and ETL functions. In doing this you will own the development, scripting, deployment and support of PowerBI and other tools used to deliver reports. This role offers an ideal balance, with 2-3 days onsite and the remainder working from home to align with EU operational hours.
Key responsibilities include: Building SQL database and queries Development of PowerBI reports and dashboards Development of DAX in PowerBI Managing user access within PowerBI Deployment of SQL and PowerBI reports un internal and external stakeholders The production and distribution of data reporting from within internal systems Providing support to users with reporting queries. Input into designing the Data Warehouse used to support the reporting needs Analysis of data and creating exec summaries of a data set About You If you thrive on providing exceptional service, then this is an outstanding opportunity for you. The following skills and experience are essential: Experience of a Data Analysis and Administration within a commercially focussed environment. Excellent knowledge of Excel, SQL, PowerBI including development & scripting Ability to use Excel to analyse data Experience of manipulating data as well as recognising and resolving data irregularities Previous experience in delivering against timelines and project requirements Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to follow processes, and have a track record of problem solving.
