Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Data Analyst to support MARS’ growth by analyzing business, marketing, sales, and operational data. The role involves working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that influence strategic and day-to-day decisions.


Key Responsibilities

 Analyze business, sales, marketing, and customer data to identify trends and growth opportunities

 Build and maintain dashboards and MIS reports for leadership review

 Track and report key KPIs across revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and operations

 Support performance analysis for campaigns, product launches, and partnerships

 Clean, validate, and manage data from multiple internal and external sources

 Work with teams to define data requirements and improve reporting accuracy

 Automate recurring reports and streamline data workflows

 Present insights and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner.


Required Skills & Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets

Hands-on experience with SQL

 Experience with BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)

 Solid understanding of data analysis, metrics, and reporting

 Ability to translate data into business insights

 Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.


Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

 Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R

 Exposure to consumer brands, D2C, e-commerce, or health/wellness domains

 Understanding of funnel metrics, cohort analysis, and unit economics

 Familiarity with CRM, marketing analytics, or ERP data

 Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
