The Role We’re hiring a Data Engineer to help design and build intelligent systems that support live events, fan engagement, and race insights for teams. You’ll be hands-on with Google Cloud Platform, data pipelines to supply AI models, and generative AI tools, working closely with technical and operational teams to turn ideas into production-ready solutions. This role requires a regular office presence in London and international travel to races around the world, so it’s ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the action.

What You’ll Be Doing Building and deploying data pipelines to further develop their data platform, whilst learning AI principles and becoming familiar with model development Developing data pipelines on Google Cloud to support real-time AI use cases Using Python & SQL to ingest & model data, readying it for business use Collaborating with technical and live-operations teams in a fast-moving environment Taking ownership of data solutions from concept through to deployment What We’re Looking For Strong experience with Python & SQL for data engineering Familiarity with Google Cloud services (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Gemini, Composer) Comfortable working in a high-pace, real-world environment Someone curious, pragmatic, and excited by applying AI to real problems Why This Role Stands Out Your work will be used live, on a global stage You’ll travel internationally as part of the role There will be opportunities for TV appearances and interviews about your work This is applied AI, not research for research’s sake This is truly unique and will only suit a certain type of person.
