Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Analytics Engineer Location: Rocester, UK (Onsite) Duration: 3 Months Start: ASAP Day Rate: £350 - £400 per day (Inside IR35) Key Responsibilities Build batch/streaming pipelines (PySpark, Spark SQL, DLT) Develop bronze–silver–gold data layers Implement CDC, optimisation, and data quality controls Orchestrate workflows via Databricks Jobs Deliver dimensional models and BI-ready datasets Support governance (Unity Catalog), CI/CD (Git, Terraform) Skills Required Strong Databricks & Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL) Experience with Delta Lake & performance tuning Knowledge of DLT/streaming pipelines CI/CD (Git, Terraform) Solid SQL & data modelling Desirable: Tableau or similar BI tools Research indicates that men will apply to a role when they meet only 50–60% of the requirements, while women and other underrepresented groups often look for a 90–100% match.
