Data Scientist

Location: Offshore – Hyderabad/Bangalore/Pune Position / Title: Data Science Lead Who Are We Looking For? Seeking individuals with 6+ years of experience implementing and managing Data Science projects. Working knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning based client projects, MVPs, and POCs.

Expertise with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and deep-learning architectures including RNNs, LSTM, and BERT. Experience with cognitive services from major cloud platforms such as AWS (Textract, Comprehend) or Azure Cognitive Services. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices, and Python scripting.

Experience in NLP and Text Analytics is preferred. Responsibilities Lead and oversee end‑to‑end data science projects, design and implement data and ML pipelines, deploy models using MLOps principles, and maintain model performance. Translate complex machine learning problem statements into specific deliverables and requirements.

Technical Skills – Must Have Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks such as Spacy and NLTK, with strong background in Text Analytics. Hands‑on experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and deep‑learning architectures including RNNs, LSTM, and BERT. Experience with cognitive services from major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.

Ability to create data and ML pipelines for efficient and repeatable data science projects using MLOps principles. Keeping abreast of new tools, algorithms, and techniques in machine learning and implementing them within the organization. Strong understanding of evaluation and monitoring metrics for machine learning projects.

Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes to deploy models in production. Adept at Python scripting. Technical Skills – Good To Have Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks and cloud ML frameworks including AWS.

Experience in natural language processing, computer vision, or deep learning. Certifications or courses in data science, analytics, or related fields. Demonstrated diligence and meticulousness in working with data.

Other Skills We'd Appreciate 10+ years of software development experience. 4+ years of experience in data science and machine learning techniques. Proven track record of deploying ML models into production. Hands‑on experience writing ML models with Python.

Prior experience with ML platforms and tools such as Dataiku, Databricks, etc. (plus). Education Qualification Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.

Process Skills Experience with general SDLC processes. Understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies. Skill in gathering and documenting user requirements and writing technical specifications.

Behavioral Skills Good attitude and quick learner. Well‑developed design, analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Excellent team player, capable of working with virtual teams. Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Certification Machine learning or AI certifications would be an added advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
