Job Description
A leading national law firm is seeking a talented associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its Debt Finance Practice in its Charlotte office.
The Position
This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated public and private debt transactions across a broad range of industries. The team represents issuers, underwriters, placement agents, initial purchasers, and other credit parties in complex financing matters, including high-yield and investment-grade offerings, bridge financings, and restructuring transactions.
Associates will advise clients on:
- Senior secured credit facilities
- Second lien facilities
- Mezzanine financings
- Bridge facilities
- High-yield and investment-grade debt offerings
- Institutional private placements
- Exchange offers, tender offers, and consent solicitations
- Refinancings and recapitalizations
- Restructuring and refinancing transactions
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active admission to the North Carolina Bar
- 3–5 years of relevant debt finance experience
