Deputy Manager - Electrical Maintenance

Profile Overview

• Post- Deputy Manager- Electrical Maintenance
• Location: Chinchpada Silvassa
• Reporting To: Plant head/Maintenance Head

Key Responsibilities

Plant Maintenance Expertise

• Troubleshoot and maintain sensors, encoder’s VFDs, servo motors, drives, PLCs, and HMIs, actuators, solenoid valves.
• Prefer Knowledge of Siemens PLC, HMI & Servo motors, Servo Drives.
• Must have knowledge in new electrical panel wiring and electrical panel modification.
• Ensure smooth functioning of integrated automation lines with minimal downtime.

Utility Section Oversight

• Excellent knowledge & maintenance experience of Transformer, DG sets, compressors, central fire plants, HT,LT Lines, APFC Panels, circuit Breaker’s Switch Yards and switch gears
• Must have knowledge & troubleshooting expertise in HSD, & Gas fired burners.
• Monitor energy consumption, power factor and optimize efficiency of utility systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations.

Team & Process Management

• Must have skills in Inventory management, critical spares stock management, New spares requisition, indigenous spares development, vendor development and Negotiation skill.
• Monitor and verify Daily energy consumption (GEB & DG) P.F, U.F, M.D, Power Fail, Power trip, Diesel consumption and documentation.
• Capability to prepare Electrical BOQ along with technical specification and verify electrical bills.
• Lead and guide a team of technicians for effective maintenance execution and minimize down time.
• Coordinate with HR to recruiter, bottom line team.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement

• Implement TPM, preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Identify opportunities for automation upgrades and process improvements.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Drive initiatives for cost reduction and energy efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in integrated automation manufacturing Plant.
• Strong knowledge of sensors, VFDs, servo motors, drives, Siemens PLCs, HMIs.
• Expertise in utility systems: DG sets, Air compressors, fire plants.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, safety standards and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
