Design Engineer

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join a reputable company in the Des Moines IA metro! The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

Role Type: Long Term Contract

Rate: 30-33/hr W2

Responsibilities

• Draw, update, and maintain designs
• Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
• Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
• Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
• Solidworks, Hydraulics, Structures, FEA, GD&T, Sheet Metal, Print Creation and Print Reading (Weld and Part), ECN Process
• CAD experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
