Design Intern

We are seeking a creative, motivated Design Intern to support our marketing and creative initiatives. This
role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in the Adobe Creative Suite, hands-on experience with
video production tools, and familiarity with Canva and emerging AI-powered design tools. The intern will
collaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce engaging visual content-particularly for social media and digital platforms.

This position will be remote located in the DC, MD, and VA area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of visual assets for digital marketing, including social media graphics, shortform videos, presentations, and promotional materials
• Edit and produce video content for social media, websites, and campaigns using industry-standard
  tools
• Design graphics and templates using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Support social media efforts by creating on-brand visuals optimized for various platforms
  (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute creative concepts
• Utilize AI-powered design tools to enhance workflows, generate concepts, and improve efficiency
• Ensure all creative assets align with brand guidelines and messaging
• Assist with basic motion graphics, animations, or video captions as needed
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication,
• Marketing, Film/Video Production, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects and Premiere Pro strongly preferred)
• Experience with video production and editing tools, including cutting, color correction, audio
  syncing, and exporting for social platforms
• Working knowledge of Canva for creating and adapting branded content
• Familiarity with AI design-oriented tools (e.g., generative design, AI-assisted video, image
  generation, or editing tools)
• Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for visual content
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for design, layout, and typography
• Ability to take direction, accept feedback, and apply revisions efficiently

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animation
• Photography or videography experience
• Familiarity with content scheduling or social media management tools
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Posted Salary Range

USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
