DevOps Engineer

We are seeking DevOps Engineers with deep core cloud expertise to join a critical government programme.

Role Overview As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimising cloud-based infrastructure, cloud security and cloud provisioning principles. You will work within an Agile team, focusing on scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures that support modern digital services.

Key Responsibilities Deploying, implementing, and supporting AWS-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and delivery for effective containerisation. Enhancement of container orchestration with Kubernetes in conjunction with CI/CD integration methods and delivery. Automate system deployments, configuration, and monitoring for reliability and performance Collaborate with developers, security engineers, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions For Senior Engineers: Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and contribute to solution design decisions Skills & Experience Required SC Clearance preferred, however, SC Eligibility accepted (applications without clearance cannot be considered) Proven experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS) Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes) Version control experience (Git) Apply Now Help shape the future of UK digital services with Amber Labs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
