Job Description
Location: Bristol, Generator Building Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days in office) Contract Duration: 4/20/2026 – 10/19/2027 We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact project supporting a key UK client. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical SAP workloads with a focus on high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) across AWS environments. What You Will Do Configure and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for SAP workloads Design and implement High Availability clusters using Pacemaker and Corosync Configure HA for SAP HANA databases and applications Implement multi-Availability Zone SAP architectures on AWS Configure automatic failover, virtual IPs, and integrate SAP HANA System Replication with Pacemaker clusters Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy HA components using Terraform or CloudFormation Conduct HA/DR testing, failover drills, and perform root cause analysis What We’re Looking For: Strong experience with RHEL 7/8/9 and clustering on AWS Expertise with Pacemaker / Corosync Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation Knowledge of SAP HA/DR best practices and SAP on AWS fundamentals Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office in Bristol.
