Responsibilities Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Read route sheets and serve each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher. Perform routine pre-route and post-route vehicle inspections, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.

Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers as needed. Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
