Electrical Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrical Automation Engineer with experience in PLC, SCADA, Siemens, and ABB systems. The candidate will be responsible for automation system development, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
• Work on Siemens (S7-1200/1500, TIA Portal, WinCC) and ABB (AC500, Automation Builder)
• Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Handle electrical panel design and system integration
• Support installation, commissioning, and testing (FAT/SAT)
• Work with drives (VFDs), sensors, and field devices
• Ensure smooth operation and optimization of automation systems

Required Skills:

• Experience in PLC programming (Siemens & ABB preferred)
• Knowledge of SCADA systems
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Profibus)
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and control panels
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

1.  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering

2.   Minimum 5+ years in industrial automation.

3.   Experience in manufacturing / process industry

4.   Knowledge of VFDs and motor control systems
