Electrical Design Engineer

The successful candidate will work as part of the busy, fast paced Engineering team on the development of new and innovative powerboats within DeAntonioYachts design team. DeAntonioYachts designs and produces boats for the powerboat leisure market. Currently with over 12 years of history, production is done in Europe and boats are sold world wide.

Key responsibilites & accountabilities

-       Produce detailed electrical specifications, overview general arrangements and production of electrical details & installation for each electrical equipment.

-       On site check in the yard to ensure all specs are implemented

-       Work with equipment supplier and yard to meet suitable designs

-       Ensure installation is made in accordance to relevant standards, in particular ABYC regulations for USA market and others such as ISO-13297, ISO-8846

-       Production of detailed information needed to ensure owner manuals include all relevant information

Qualifications & Skills

-       B.Eng in electric engineering or equivalent

-       ABYC certified (Advisor Certification or Technician Certification preferred)

-       Familiar with surveying, inspection and EU certifications

-       Able to travel throughout Europe

-       Able to liaise with engineers & designers to improve overall design

-       Previous experience with yards preferred

-       Fluent in English and/or Spanish
