Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day electrical operations within the copper manufacturing complex, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally and safely.
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment including motors, transformers, switchgears, control panels, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Conduct detailed electrical inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues, failures, or inefficiencies, and recommend timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, safety, and quality departments to ensure integrated operational performance.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations on electrical failures or incidents to develop robust solutions and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2-8 years of experience in electrical engineering roles within the Copper Manufacturing or related heavy industry sectors.
• Deep understanding of electrical distribution systems, motor controls, transformers, and switchgear operations.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation technologies.
